06 king quad installing teather kill switch
#1
I need help installing a teather kill switch on my kq. Bike shop said it can't be done, I think they just don't want to do it. They said too many volts up on the handlebars or something like that.

Why the heck would you need a tether kill switch?? Do you plan on falling off your bike a lot? Are you going to put cruise control on it? Whether or not the engine is dead when you FALL OFF probably isn't going to matter much.
The reason they put them on snowmachines and jet skis is beyond me, since I've only seen one person get a stuck throttle and then have to bail to avoid death. And it was about 30 below zero in Eureka, Alaska. AND she was an older woman.
Why don't you just install your switch as an interupter to your regular handle bar kill switch? Put it in-line.
