motion pro twist throttle for my '86 lt230. is it worth the 40 bucks?

I feel like I'm practically stalking you, lol! I had a Magura twister on my 'Sport back in the day. I hate them on the more powerful quads personally, but it was never problematic for me on the little Zuk. I'm not real familiar with that make/model twist, but if you have ever replaced the throttle cable, adding that throttle won't be much worse. It just takes a little patience is all.
Yes, you will need to replace the current grips.
I can't comment on quality, but if you do it, ride very carefully until you get used to the throttle. Quite a few situations have the potential to make you add more throttle at the worst possible time!

hahaha its cool man atleast your replying back to me! i was thinking about getting the twist but i think i changed my mind beacsue i dont have all the money, and i guess its not totally necessary. i plan on buying a new quad in the nest couple years or so so im not gonna spend any more money on my quadsport, considering that its 20 years old hahah

That's cool. Twist throttles on quads are one of those things where people either love 'em or hate 'em, and there isn't much middle ground.
