What is really funny is that there are so many people with spelling issues that I have become able to understand the different versions of the english language just as if it was spelled correctly (sort of like what happens with understranding women lmao), and I completely understood what he was asking [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img] [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img] [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

Too bad I dont have any experience with running alky in these things as posting the answer would have been really messed up.

 

ok the blow by tubes on the 400z are routed to the air box. someone said it is for high rev purpus to lube the valve train. We made a new intake tube for the 41 mm cr carb is it nessary for it to be hooked up or can we route it to the ground under the motor. and yes it ripps hard on alcohol

The tubes are just for emissions controls. The government doesnt want the oil vapors just dumped into the environment, so the hoses are routed to the air box, so the oil vapors can be sucked into the motor and burned .
You could just let the tube hang...but it could also take on water and dust that way. Its not gonna hurt performance to route the tubes like a stock motor has, and let the motor burn the blowby.

 

Negative on letting the hose hang. You need a small filter hooked on the end of it. You also need the black box to stay on there. People have experimented with taking it off but had serious blow by problems.

Another Z on alky huh? What jetting did you end up using? Drilled out needle jet I presume? What compression? I guess I just need some details!

we thought that was the case with the tube we need to put a filter on it or devise something but i dont want it in my air stream alky is touchy some it could put a air passage and lean it out or richen it so might have to make a new litttle box , i prefer my boxes shaved
