Default Front sprocket cover help

I bought a sprocket cover, metal bracket and two spacers for my 89 lt500r. When I went to install the cover the spacers were not long enough. I looked up the parts to double check and they are the correct length spacers. Has anyone else had this problem befor? it looks like the spacers need to be about 1/4" longer. I have one short and one long spacer. Thanks!

are your case save mounts broken off? also make sure the sprocket is on all the way.

Default Front sprocket cover help

I just checked. The sprocket is on all the way and the case saver/sprocket cover bolts into the crankcase cover. everything looks like it is right. I have only six parts. I have two bolts, two spacers(one short and one long),one metal support that fits to the back of the sprocket cover and the plastic sprocket cover. Am I missing any parts?

Default Front sprocket cover help

I think that the spacers I have are the wrong size. If anyone out there could measure their spacers and let me know what size they are it would help me a lot. My short spacer is 7/16" long and the large one is less than 3/4" but more than 11/16".
