Default LT185 has reversed compression

I have a 198? suzuki lt185. I recently took off the valve inspection caps off of the cylinder head. After doing this i put the caps back on and it did not start. It seems that it is pumping air out of the cylinder instead of sucking it in through the intake valve. I have worked on it every chance i can and cannot find a solution. I need to know what i did wrong and how to fix it.

I doubt inspecting it did anything. Did you touch/adjust anything?
Blowing by the valves would be over adjusted valves(too tight) or the valve is not seating.
