The bigger rear rim you go with, the less the tire is going to weigh. Lighter weight tires will help to lessen the power loss from the larger tires. This is why I went with 12" rims with 25" tires on back.

With a lift, if your front wheels leave the ground then they drop down so far that the suspension can't do it's job (it binds up). So, when you come down it is VERY jarring and it will eventually destroy your ball joints.
The tethers I made prevent the suspension from dropping down when the front wheels leave the ground. This way, when the front tires hit the ground, it is nice and smooth because nothing binds up. I have had this lift on my Ozark for over a year now and have done some pretty serious riding with no problems from the ball joints.

You can fit 25" tall rims up front with no lift, in the back is questionable. I had to trim a bit of the front egde of the fender to allow 25" tires to fit with a lift. Without a lift you'll probably rub on the top of the fender as well.
Oh, and yes I do have pics of the tethers, somewhere!! I'll have to dig them up.
I don't have any new pics with the new wheels and tires on it as of yet since the new tires are mounted on the rims, but the bead has not been set. I'm off of work this week due to a knee injury and am planning on working on it, but haven't gotten a chance to do so yet.

Here is the only pics showing my old 25" X 13.5" X 9" Super Swamper TSLs right after I got the lift installed. You can see how close they are to the plastic right behind your heels.

I have just over $1g put into my Ozark right now. That is all parts costs though as I have done all of the labor myself.
If I had another $1g to put into it, I'd get a cam, aftermarket CDI, high compression piston, and bigger carb.
