is the quad sport prety quick? im willing to do mods.

depends what u think is quick!!!! mine runs good for its age ,and i dont get left in dust either

 

it may or may not be a good quad for you, first,

how old are you?
how tall are you?

If you're going to be 6"4 in a few years, then it would be stupid to get a quad now, or just get a full size quad right away

If you're going to get a full size quad, find someone with a 300ex or 250ex or something smaller, and learn the clutch on that

If you already can drive using a clutch, then why would you get a z250?

is it the new quadsport 250 or one of the old ones (89',90')

you'd be too big for it, you should look into a z400 they seem to be nice bikes.
