Default re clutch (horse shoe) key

ok!bye now you guys are probably tired of so many post regarding (clutch)but today I put the bike together and runs good.Only one problem when bike Idles no noise (smooth)when choke up or rev up, noise comes back(RATTLE NOISE)Lt 80 posted that he usually put a new movable drive face plate.I guess when I installed I did not aligned the notch durring installation.tomorrow I'll go to my suzuki dealer ship and purchase a movable drive face plate and key again. What I can't under stand is how could this plate not aligned cause this rattle noise. Can somebody explain? Thanks!

I don't think it's that plate causing a rattle.
Sorry if I had implied that. I thought you had a alighnment problem only (the plate).
Rattling is usually piston slap but could be other things I guess.
Use a big screw driver and listen thru it. Try to isolate where the noise is comming from. ie: clutchs,cylinder,fan...
I forget what if anything you have done to it.

Ok! couple weeks ago I notice a rattle noise comming around piston area ,check compression and its at 120psi.So I decided to take a look at my front clutch, took it apart and notice all rollers had flat spots and gummy grease and the movable drive face and plate where damage so I replase everything.Put it back together and bike Idle smooth no noise,(quiet)but when choke up rattle noise comes back or when rev up,I't also does it when you are comming to a stop then when it reaches idle noise goes away and some times comes back. What I did notice with the old part (drive face)was that the copper tubing stick out on the old one 1/8 of in inch and new one, flush with housing. It's a 1995 lt80 great bike ,Torque nut to 38 foot pound.Where I'm I going wrong?any suggestions are welcome!the drive face where key goes inn it look like if theres not enough to get a good grip and moved little then comes to a stop or it could be I never did line them up from the beganning.I order the parts, movable drive face plate and key (horse shoe)I'll pick them up today and I'm going to wait for any suggestions. Thanks!once again lt80.

my 80 had a rattle when i got it just above idle. idle was normal so i took 1 thing off at a time. turned out to be crank bearing going south on me. i replaced it and decided at this point of a teardown why not put some mods on it. now its fine.
