I see the new 450 king quad uses a 454cc engine. I was wondering if this was the same engine that was used in the cat 454 that used a Suzuki engine? Is there anything in common with these two engines or is the new king quad engine all new?

Is there any place on line that post horse power numbers for ATV's? Would like to know how the 450 stacks up against other current 400's and 500's.

 

Just got new mags on the 450 and the engine is new.It features a 4-valve head with a single
overhead cam and with a 84mm bore and an 82mm stroke and has EFI.Checking the weight difference between the 700 and 450 there is practically none.The 450 has the same chassis, suspension and gauges as the 700 minus the third headlight.Hope to take one on a ride next week.Can't wait till they have a shootout with similiar sizes.
