Eiger rear drum hose

Eiger rear drum hose
First time poster, long time lurker.
Bought an 07 Eiger 4x4 a couple months ago, and its done everything I could ask for. Small enough for all the very tight trails we ride and enough power to pull the mud holes and technical stuff. Of course more CC's would be nice, I've ridden sport quads for years and sportbikes, but it does great for our nasty trails (and the price is right).
Threw a rear bumper on last night and noticed a vent line (small 1/4" black pvc hose) hanging over the rear axle. Looked around and saw a vent nipple on the rear brake drum, near the top. Does the hose I now see hanging go on the brake drum vent? The hose runs up along the swingarm and upwards towards the gas tank. If any Eiger owners read this, can they check theirs and let me know?
Thanks
