Default Where is a good place to get replacement headlight bulbs for an 05' Eiger?

Would like to upgrade the weak headlight bulbs in my Eiger. Was riding after dark the other day & found out they are kinda wimpy. I even stopped to see if I had mud covering my lights, nope just not very bright. Is there a better bulb that will help & not cost me a small fortune? Looks like the 05' models had a 14v but my headlight bulb is listed as a 12v.

Thanks,
HS

when mine were smashed out, I went to the dealer and I asked for aftermarket ones, they said because they are 14v that there were none :S, only the OEM light bulbs, so I thought those were my only choice. If you know of any aftermarket ones (find any) that would be awesome, the stock ones are dim as hell.

Yes, the stock lights suck. I found that the PIAA H6M bulbs will replace the stock part. They are 12v 35w but output equal to 60w. They aint cheap, about $28 a piece, but from what I gather are worth the upgrade.

I tried old Z250 quadrunner bulbs, they're 12v so I thought they'd work better, but NO. I think that it's the small gauge wires to the bulbs that create a voltage drop at the bulb. I've been thinking about jumping them with a large wire straight from the battery to see if it makes a diff, but I'm lazy, and don't ride at night often enough to care. If I were going to do the test right, I'd run the ground wire straight to the frame as short as possible, and use a 10 or even 8 gauge wire straight from the batt when the quad is running to see if it helps. If it does, we'll know what to do.
