Default LT80 WONT START!!!? Please help if u can.......

Finally get a decent day my boy can ride his quad and it wont start! This is the first time I ever had any trouble whatsoever. Turned the key on hit the starter button and nothing. I figured the battery was dead so i tryed jumping it from my scrambler and hit the button and still nothing. Not even a clicking noise. Is there fuses on this thing somewhere or is there a way i can jump start it at a selenoid like u can a tractor? I dont know what it can be, we had it out about 3 weeks ago in the snow and it started fine at least 10 times, we put it away and havent touched it till today. any suggestions on what i can try?

You might try switching the batteries to see if that will work. If the battery is completely dead, I don't know that the Scrambler will be able to jump it.

There is a fuse located just under the right rear fender; it'll have a sheet of opaque white plastic over it. The fuse is in there; just push it in... Follow your wires off the battery it'll take you right to it....Good luck

I'm sure I'm wrong but I would refer to it as the master reset... I'm sure our other friends will have a more tech responce to you question.... Glad our input helped...

Sorry scrambler 500; but how in the he__ did my nickname change from TrailBlazer to Range Rover ? Is this a computer glitch or some smart A__ ? I don't know if this has happened to others. And I surely don't want to make a big thing out of something irrellevant. In case it is a wise guy; your Range Rover is the biggest and most expensive piece of sh__ I've ever seen.... It is by far the number one most broke down on the side of the road car I've ever seen.... Com-on it's a Brit car.........I hope this is a computer glitch..then I'll get off my high horse.....With regards

Looking from the back of the LT-80 underneath the right side fender is a switch clipped on to the frame.
This must be pushed in for the electrical system to work. Very occasionally it gets pushed in for whatever reason....

The start buttons themselves get a bit dodgy with age so that's somethign else to look for.

Fuses going is anonther one as is battery contacts.

Glad you've got it running. They're still great little bikes!
