Wow, MORE low end torque??? the lil units OWN the low end, and MID for that matter!! Atomic is right though, if you can't find it in the 230 qs help thread, it probably don't exist!!

Back the valve lash off a bit... maybe a 1/4 turn (maybe more, who knows). Do the intake more than the exhaust. It worked wonders for my 220 bayou... I moved the torque down in the rpm and actually added 2 more hp (according to simulation software). Not sure about the 230, but you can try.

Better get a bigger quad then! If you gear the 230 to do 60 then it won't get there very fast... And if you gear it so it has good acceleration, then it won't go 60.

usry, atomicpunk gave you the link, to ALL your questions so far.

add that link to your favorites, if it has to do with the 230 it is in there.

By the way, stock my 86 LT230S would do damn near 60mph! After a light bore, intake work, pipe, exaust, and up to 13 tooth on front 68.6mph and only slightly less wheelie happy than stock.

Now going for 273cc, and TOO MANY MODS TO LIST!!! Based on what I have learned from the link atomicpunk gave you. I am learning from their mistakes and successes. Check it out.
