Default 87 LT230E CARB SPEC QUESTION

Hello, I just aquired an 87 lt230e, This machine fires right up but the problem I'm having is the engine rps's are eratic from a stall out condition to probaly 4-5k rpm and back down again. I removed the carb, disassembled, cleaned throughly and reassembled, no difference (except its starts better) I have'nt gotten a repair manual yet so could someone tell me what the correct setting's should be for the 2 jets on the lh side of the carb ?? Thanks very much for any reply's

2- 2 1/4 on mixture screw from lightly seated and the other is idle which is up to how u like idle neither of mine have a good idle fuxuates a lil try rasing the needle on slide if it gets worse lower it a notch theres either 4 or 5 notches lower richens raise leans that would be where u need to check as this is your midrange of the carb
