Honda Trx450R vs. Suzuki LTR 450
I have already posted this in the Honda forum. I want input from both Honda and Suzuki riders. Here it is:
I am in the market to buy a new 450 sport machine. I have read as much as I can find about both machines. From what I read the Suzuki handles better and rides better, and it has EFI. However, the Honda has a better power delivery and to me, it looks much better. I would like to hear from those that have ridden both. How much better does the Suzuki handle, and does it really have a better ride? Is the Honda alot faster. Is the ride harsh (as some say) on the Honda? I tend to keep my machines stock so I am interested in stock vs. stock. Also I have narrowed it to these two machines, so I do not need a Kawasaki or Yamaha comparison.

For what it's worth, I'm told that mechanics would rather work on the Honda.
I personnaly think both are fine machines.

well I own a ltr 450 and have raced a 660 raptor that has a jet kit...full hmf exhaust and this guy also races so he isnt a bad rider and i beat him....my dad has a cannondale cannonbal 440 and I beat him by half a quad length and I that thing is nasty. All I had done to mine was the air box lid off and the spark arrestor out...then i went and got that hmf exhaust and cherry bomb added to it and Im telling you that thing is fast as can be...But the ride is def. nice on the ltr 450..on the honda it felt really stiff...for power wise i like the ltr more...my friend has the honda with a duncan pipe on it and i hated the feeling of the power...i have more bottom end then he does and i also have more top end. My opinion is to go with the ltr 450 because of the great suspension...great power delivery and of course the efi...its the best thing they have added to atvs. But get what every suits you!! check out my ltr on my photos...
