need help with LT-4wd
#1
I have a 1987 suzuki LT-4wd.
These are the problems I have. I really hope someone has some good ideas on what is causing problem.
The first start up after it has sat for a few days it will not crank with the electric start. (The engine spins fine but it will not crank) I can hold the throttle down and pull with the rope and it will start up. After it is warm it cranks with the electric start but I still have to push the throttle.
It will not idle most of the time and I have got the idle screw all the way in. I have also adjusted the mixture screw and it idles best with the screw almost all the way in.
It seems to be running rich. I have cleaned the carb and put a kit in it today and it makes very little difference on how it runs. It seems to run pretty good wide open. It will run about 51 mph.
Does anyone know how the choke works on these?
I cant figure it out. I have had the carb off there twice. Please share your ideas Thanks very much!
