i had a yellow little 90 as my first quad and saw similar things happen after all the uv rays from the sun riding it on the beach in the summertime it faded so you may have an answer yellow colors tend to do that even colors such as dark green should do that also

 

the KQ 450 doesnt come in yellow, only the 700

 

Oh I forgot to mention my Youngest son has a 2006 LTZ 50 in Yellow and so far it has held up well... But needless to say it hasn't suffered thru what the KQ has... LOL

My Eiger is Yellow and for some reason they did replace it with black. Black looks cool, but I've never seen another yellow Eiger when I'm out on the trail. I like the looks of the Yellow, and mine has held up very well. No fade at all, but I keep it garaged. Perhaps a better atv cover would protect it better?

The only complaint I have is that Wasps, Hornets, and Bees seem to think its a giant "Mother Ship" Occassionally they get a little too protective of it too!

My wife's Vinny is yellow and we've had issues with getting U.P "red" mud stains out of the plastic.
They should make paint with that mud!
Yellow is Suzuki every since I can remember.
Kawi is green, Yammy is blue, Can-Am is ? and Honda is red... I wish life was still that simple.
Arctic Cat dosen't count as far as wheelers go cause they really haven't made 1 yet but I've heard they are lime green or something?

There's was Lime green, in all honesty, they need different colors anyway. If they offer a camo, then why offer a dark green. Just go with red,yellow, black and hell how about for the ladies, like pink,white, purple, blue or something. I beleive they make up about 35-40%of riders anyway.
