Default Who's familiar with the Ozark 250?

I am planning to buy my two boys (14 year old twins) new atv's. Is the Ozark 250 very well built? How do they perform? Any problems that anyone is aware of with these? I can get the Honda 250 for about $400 less, should I go that route?

Thanks,
Brad

Both are good choices. You cant go wrong with either. The suzi has full floorboards, which is nice, especially in mud. The resale is probably a bit better with the hondas, but the suzi motor is a bit sportier.

I agree I had my Ozark up until I got my 450r and I rode the thing hard and still performed awesome, but I did take care of it...I think you will be happy with either one, but if it came down to the Ozark and Honda Recon I would say go with the Zuki because it handles much better and feels sportier.

hey im 13 about to be 14 and i got an ozark and it is great it has lots of power and goes bout any where i want it to go. The only problem i had was those stock tires wore out to quick and the get holse to easy i would suggest geting a good set of 6ply tires and then u should be good to go. I think they will love the ozark. i also ride with biger quads and it has no problem keeping up.

We have a 2003 Ozark with about 170 hours on it and have never had a problem. We do take very good care of it. The Honda Recon is a much better machine now than it was in 2003 when we bought our Ozark. If you can get the Honda for $400 less, that would be a tough decision.

The Honda Recon and the Suzuki Ozark are very similar. We have 2 Ozarks and are happy with them but if you can get the Honda for $400 less per quad, I would get the Honda.

Thanks for the input guys. This is the sort of information that I was hoping for. It appears, from what I am hearing, that they are both worthy ATV's. The quotes that I got one the Honda and Suzuki were both first answers and I am sure that they can be negotiated somewhat. The quote that I got for the Honda was $2900 and $3300 for the Suzuki. I mentioned in neither case that it was for 2 bikes and that will help as well.

Thanks again guys.

I have an 05 ozark, No problems at all. . .the shifting is a lil choppy, but from what ive heard they are all like that. Awesome Machine!!!! Mine has swamp fox tires, and goes anywhere i want to put it, and if you do get stuck, it's light enough to pick up by yourself and move.
