Default power modules?

I have a 2007 kingquad 700 & want to get a power module that has the most power & is reliable. I do alot of mud riding & have 28' maxxis mudzillas. I am trying to regain some of the lost power to compensate for the tires does anyone have one or can anyone tell me what is out there. I want the best!!! Thanks

Have you upgraded to a better clutch kit? That in itself would make a world of difference to regain that loss on the low end.
I have or I should say had (just took them off) 27in ITP XTR'S and installing a clutch kit made a night and day difference. I also just installed a Power Comander 3, and a yoshi slip on. All I can say is wow!
It made the 700 come alive.

Did you do any Mods to the floor board support brace to run the 28 zillas on the rear? My 27 ITP's will rub that brace under the right load or jumping.

Dude, you gotta get on the list for the new copperhead ecu from VDI, It will wake the beast up! More than a power commander the whole ecu and efi has been retarded on the 700 by Suzuki, this new ecu is totally remapped and redone from the ground up and all safety devices/limits can be selected to be turned off. You can got to VDI website and get on the list and get more info, will be releasing 250 units very soon (I think those are already spoken for) the units are mad for Suzuki 700 efi engines in the King Quad and the Artic Cat 700, also nyrocatv has a forum topic on this new product updated daily by the manufacturer. It's described as "chest throbbing power"

No problems with my tires rubbing but I do have aftermarket rims that were actually on my vinson which makes the tires stick out about 4' past my fenders. I am already on the list for the vdi & it is supposed to be out late this month. I was actually thinking about the clutch kit but it didn't do much for my vinson so I hadn't done it yet. What year is your atv because I haven't been able to find a power commander for the 07.

Ok, VDI what? I typed in vdi for google and got 770,302 entry results. I really don't want to look through all of them to see if I can find the right one. So please for us dummies, put the whole thing down. Thank you.

all the best info directly from VDI themselves is on NYROC atv website, some of the people on the seite are actually testing the product, lots of info from start to finish, even a topic on why this new ECU is better than the plug and play modules, when it comes out. Unfortunetly they have had a few issues with the mounting brackets and some very minor technical bugs in real world riding, this is the same company that built the copperhead modual for the Kawi Prarie and they stand behind a quality product.

VDI also runs a dalton clutch kit so a clutch kit would be a good start until the copperhead goes main stream. I too have been on there site, they've got a few short video's you can download to see how it works on the arctic cat 700. It does wheelies right off the start with no body language! I'm just wondering if they piled a bunch of bricks in the storage box on the back to give it more leverage LOL!
