Default 06 King Quad 700 Starter

OK well i've looked around on the site for my answer but cant seem to find it and was hoping one of you could help me. My king quad wont start with the electric starter it just makes a clicking noise and the instrument panel lights will flash. It will pull start fine after a few tries. But then after i let it run for a few and turn it off the same problem persists. Also if i turn on the headlights after i get it running it will shut down. So it seems as if the battery isnt getting a charge. Is this a dead battery or a problem with my charging system? Any suggestions would be helpful, thank you.

I'm not an expert but here is an idea. Put a full charge on the battery and see if starts. If same problem then may be a starter issue. If it starts fine then turn it off and let it sit for a couple of days and try again. If it is sluggish then your battery may not be holding a charge. If it starts fine then run it for a while and turn it off then try and recrank. If it is sluggish then it might be a charging problem. My $02.

I have had the exact same problem with mine. I had it about 3 months and set most of the time. Itook it in under warranty and they just replaced the battery. It ran find for quit a bit longer and then it started doing it again. It now is out of warranty and they wont do anything with it. I know the operators manual states that if you let it set for periods of time you should unhook the battery. I put a load test on the battery and it showed find, so i charged it back up and i still cant get it to start every time. I know mine is a charging problem. I just cant find anywhere on the internet either that has any type of info on this subject.
