I'm thinking about buying a new 400-500cc 4X4 quad and would like to hear the Pros & Cons of the Suzuki lineup. I've kind of got it narrowed down to the Suzuki, Honda, Kawasaki, Yahama, and Polaris. I know this is the Suzuki forum and I will probably post it in each forum to get evaryones feedback but Suzuki and Honda are at the top of the list right now. I thought I wanted a 400 rancher but the honda guys talked me out of it, kinda strange hum? They said 350 was better than 400. Still havent gotten a reason why yet though. You guys let me know about your Eigers and 500's also advise about the P & C's of auto vs. manual.
Thanks anyone for any info please.

I am now running my second eiger. I cant kill these things and believe me i have tried. My first one was an 04 that i sold to my brother and i now have an 07. no problems at all. as for auto or semi, i prefer the semi for what i use it for which is general riding and hunting off of it. i would recomend this machine to anyone.

Eigers are a great buy for the price. If you don't want a digital speedometer or clock or anything else fancy you can't beat them. The suspension is designed for general riding so if you push it, it will push back a little bit, but it should be able to handle whatever you throw at it.

I've got an 05 auto and really like it. Only have about 160 miles on it but it has run very well. My brother has an 06 Vinson and although his has the bigger engine, there really isn't an appreciable difference in performance. I mean, yes it certainly will edge out the Eiger in a race on the flats but not by very much at all.
On the trails, the only difference is cosmetic. It's simplistic in design, has tremdous torque, is comfortable, fast and can really push snow. Anyway, its an excellent bike. Good riding.
