My 04 vinson seems to have some slop in the shifter (foot shifter) it seems to be kind of clunky and it is easy to miss third gear if you try to shift fast. Is there any possible adjustments on it or what else can I do? please let me know

 

No adjustments. I switched to Amsoil synthetic and it helped some. I think a lot of the 5 speeds have this issue. I just learned to adapt.

My 350 Big bear was notchy and a pain to shift with boots on. Once I switched to full synthetic motor oil I could shift it with sandals on smoothly!!
