LT80: R&R'd clutch rollers: Now clutch is too tight
#1
I just R&R'd the rollers in my LT80's front clutch. Had four (thought 3) in it before, and it ran well, but the clutch began to slip sooner than I wanted, so this time, I went to five rollers. Now, the LT80 bogs bad until it gets on the pipe. So bad that it won't get started moving on a decent incline. I used an electric impact wrench to tighten it. Is my problem too many rollers (DG pipe) or too tight?
Thanks!
Thanks!

LT80,
Thanks, as always for your quick reply. I installed the front clutch assembly, then the washer, then the bolt. Is this correct?
Also, is it OK to use an impact to tighten?

Yes you indeed use an impact wrench.
The washer I mentioned: your installing the roller hub (variator) then you put the spacer thru that part, then a big washer, then the outewr clutch face, thin spring washer, then nut. The big washer that the belt rides on is what I'm talkinbg about.

Yes, I did install the big washer - thanks for checking. I guess it's the extra roller that's causing the bog, like you said. So, is the DG Pipe more of a top-end pipe? Just wondering, since stock the LT has 6 rollers.
Thanks.
Thanks.
