Default Hey LT250R guys!

Could you help out your lil brother LT230S faithfull with a few measurements please??

What are the measurements of your a arms where they bolt to the frame, top and bottom? And length of a arm?

What about swing arm where it mounts to frame??

Eye to eye length of shocks?

We are all on a quest to make our lil turds better, and any help would be appreciated! The "racer" parts are much more accesible than the ones for our 4 stroke step-child.... MANY THANKS if you can help....................

so wait a sec are you planning on mounting lt250r a-arms on a 230s ill look at mine and see what the measuments are
also do you know what a chain guard for an 88 230s would run my buddy bught a 230 minus the chain guard and after rebuiding his mototr for em he broke the origonal case, bought another and broke that so he's now looking for a guard and new chain

Yeah, everybody wants longer a-arms on their 230's and was wondering if the 250 arms would go with little maching and if they are long enough to be worth the effort.

I think you are talking about a "case saver". Maybe rockymountainatv or bikebandit will have something? Ebay? Not sure, I just use the stock one. Or I would have made one from steel.

But I CAN recommend a chain tensioner! Universal Chain Tensioner from http://www.jlatvproducts.com/

I run my chain loose as a goose and havent had it come off since. Its loose enough for the rear shock to go all the way down w/o killing the swingarm bearings. Its simply a "must have"!
