Default eiger hanging up?

I have an 07 eiger, sometimes after its been parked a few days when I crank it up and put it into reverse it doesnt go. I can give it more gas and then it makes a clunking noise like it comes unstuck then I can back up. anyone have any ideas? its under warranty but I was just wondering if anyone heard or had the same problem.

Rear brake might be sticking, especially if any moisture has gotten in there and the bike is stored below freezing. Drum brakes can tend to do that. This used to be a chronic problem with my KingQuad (the old KQ 300 style with drum brakes all around). It happened so much that I've made a habbit of never leaving the parking brake on while stored in the shed.

Actually the first time it did that i did have the parking brake on but it has done it 3 times since and the parking brake was not on, on top of that my wifes dog chewed the seat off and there was nothing left but the plastic, so i went and ordered a new seat from the dealer. i was kinda embarrassed to take it in for warranty work with the seat chewed off lol

I have an 06 Eiger SemiAuto that did the same thing. Took it back to dealer for service and it turns out the idle was too low. A couple turns of the idle adjustment screw and everything works fine. If it is too cold, the idle tends to be low inititally, so I still see it occasionally when first riding.

Yeah. It won't move because it's cold, it hiccups when you want it to go, and it seems like it's stuck. Mine always is like that.

Actually, when the idle was set too low, the gear shifter would not even go into position...it would never click into gear until you tapped the throttle and brought the rpms up a bit, then the shifter would fall back into position. I've never had any operational issues, even when it was at it's worse...it was just a pain when I would plow snow and have to tap the throttle every time before I could back away the pile of snow. Seems fine since the throttle was sped up.

PS you may want to keep checking the drain plug on the bottom of your rear brake... had to have my rear brake completly redone at 4700 miles and the again at 5500... if you have any work done specify Suzuki parts only....
