Default LT50A

My 2005 LT50 quit running this weekend. It ran great all weekend long in the socal desert. My son went on a ride with the family that was about 15 to 20 miles by the time we were done. The little machine did great. The next day he goes to ride around camp before leaving and it dies. Then it would not start.

I have cleaned carb three times. I used a piece of wire to ream the main and pilot jets out just to make sure they are clear. I cleaned the pet ****. I have checked and have spark. The carb is full of fuel each time I take it off. The fuel is fresh. I checked the compression and it has right at 100lbs. The exhaust and intake restrictors have been removed since day one. This thing has been perfect it's whole life and my son is going to get real mad if dad can't fix it.

Does anyone have any ideas of where I should go or check? I have never had a little bike get to me like this. The frustrating part is I have spark and I have fuel in the carb. I pull on the starter and it just does not want to fire. Please someone give me something to work with cause I want to keep the hair on my head. Thanks.

Mike

Make sure the tether kill switch didn't get bumped off. I scratched my head for a few hours one day, then kicked myself in the butt when I realized it was that the tether had been bumped, and was off just enough to keep it from running.

I have checked that more than once. I also went over the entire machine checking all of the wires. That's the thing, I have spark at the spark plug and gas in the carb. Thanks.

Ok, calling the experts. Is there a reason why the carb would not be pumping or pulling fuel into the motor. The carb is full of fuel but I don't think it is getting into the cylinder. The carb is clean and the jets are clear. Could the oil injection system have something to do with this? That is about the only thing I have not checked.

pull plug out and clean or replace with new. turn over a few seconds and replace plug crank over again and pull plug and see if its wet.
