Hello, I have a 2006 suzuki ltr-450, and I race harescrambles I would like to no what the right tire size for the quad would be I have 18X10 tires and 8 inch rims ( rear ) the fronts are 20 inch, what do you suggest as a good harescramble tire size. thank you =]

 

i have the same bike and i just put a set of kenda knarly 21/11 on 9 inch rims on the back and they clear no problem it stoped my skid plate from hitting on rough trails also. the only down side is that on hard dirt larger tires will have more side wall flex and they dont slide as good in the corners so it depends on where you ride but for cross country and trails they perform way better and handle great. i would put 21/6 or 7 on the front to match and then put a 12 tooth front sprocket on to make up for the larger tires. awsome combo and i love the tires.

 

I'm runnin ITP Gncc's 21 rear 22 front they seem to work pretty good i'm running stock sprocket right now, not 2 bad but i have a 13 to put on that i think will work pretty well
