Default 2006 eiger idle adjustment

I have a 2006 eiger that will not idle consistantly. Sometimes too low and sometimes too high. How do I properly set, so i have a fresh starting point.

The manual says that you need a tachometer. I'd just do it by ear and feel. To get a good starting point, warm it up and ride it around a bit. Then go from there.

It is a black **** by your left thigh, jut to the right of the fuel cut on/off valve. counter clockwise will lower it. look through the opening in the body work and you will see it. Mine idled too high after a few minutes of running, so make sure it is at operating temperature before adjusting it.

I checked that cable and it is not comng in contact with the throttle linkage at the carburetor. Could something be holding that butterfly open? Is there another idle screw? I took the cable off the linkage and it does not drop down to lower the idle?
Help!

Idle screw is on the right side of the carb. And the screw is at about 45 degrees faceing the rear. Just back it in or out and you will be fine.
