Hello everybody, I'm new to the board. Anyone out there have a older quad like me? Lets get some tech tips and mods listed for the older ones.

welcome to the forums.
I started out in 1988 with a new Suzuki 4x4. It was a 250 and I wished it had the 300cc's of the updated king quad. lol
The 250 just didn't have the grunt. look what's available today. 800cc's and such.

No, not at all, the ride is much smoother and the traction is outstanding. They dont rub anywhere either. And dont forget, I have 15 foward gears. We went to the Hatfield Mcoy trails and they performed perfect on and off road. We took a 15 mile trip on a highway at 50 mph with no problems.

Heres a side by side picture of the stock size and mine.

I got ripped off, I bought them at a local dealer and they cost me $520. After I got them, I found them on the internet for $400, no tax and free shipping. The dealer said no one made aftermarket wheels for the rear of a King Quad because it has 5 lugs. I found them on the internet also. I think they were about $30 a piece.
