Default Suzuki lt80 cyliner help

I'm am 12 years old and I bought a 1996 Suzuki lt80 ATV two years ago that did'nt work. so I gave it a little TLC and got it running. then I accidently blew the piston rings since I did'nt check the oil because I put fresh oil in a few days before. so about 6 months after I blew the rings my dad asked one of his friends if he could take a look at my cylinder and piston and he said that there were some scars that almost are 0.070 deep and that the largest piston they made was 0.080 and the size of piston I would need to get was a 0.140 or more. so I started to look for a new cylinder then I found a over size piston . So I told my dad that I found a over size piston then he said to go on this website and ask if a piston that was 52mm would be safe to install by milling the current sleeve for this size piston set.can you help me out.thank you Mr. D

LT80 can help the best here but I will try, if it was me I would look real hard for a cyl/piston kit that are a matched set. I had a friend do the piece here and there thing with 3 Blasters and none of them are together now and it's been 3yrs. Keep checking ebay, you can find plenty kits on there, good luck.

Welcome to the forums young man.
I admire your determination in working on your machine.
If you could do something for me please. Could you look on top of your piston and tell me if there is no number, a .5, or a 1.0 stamped on it.
Or, measure the bore.
I'll tell you what you can and cannot do with this.

A Wiseco piston if so.
That tells me that you have 2 bores left on your cylinder. You'll be needing a 1.5 over (.060) and your cylinder bored.
