I just bought a hood. Around $45 bucks.
Now that you have the one side loose, you can swivel it. Unless your going to the LT80 beauty contest <G> the one top and two bottom bolts will hold it fine. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

 

sounds like it might be your only choice now i looked at my sons lt80 and it looks like that will work if the inserts wont drill out ,similar to the hood maybe the plastic will melt around the inserts and pull out somehow. sounds easier said than done. maybe to risky!? or you could forget the screws all together and get some good quality sticky back velcro pcs or two sided emblem tape and just stick it down since its only holding the top of the hood down. ??? good luck
