Upgrading KingQuad 750 Tires / Rims
#1
I am new to this site. I have had my Suzuki 750 for a few months. All is well so far. I am wanting to change the stock tires and rims to ITP SS108 14" with 27" Swamplites. I have read of various issues pertaining to steering issues with larger tires and don't want to cause myself future problems. Any suggestions or advice would be great. I most use my atv for hunting with quite a bit of mud and roots/rock riding in eastern NC. Thanks in advance.

They say the caster issue is a problem with aftermarket tires. That being said, I have 600 miles on my 26" Swamplites without problems so far. Try http://www.mudthrowers.com for the prices on those tires and use the coupon code LUGNUT to save 5%.
Hope this helps.

SBuckJ : Do you like your 26" Swamplite tires. I am lookng at both 26" and 27".... How do they hold up? Why did you decided on this tire vs others and vs. larger tires?

I just like the feel of the Swamplites. I had them on a previous ATV (Kodiak 450). I stayed with 26" because I didn't want to raise my center of Gravity too much. There are better tires out there but I like the price of the Swamplites. They wear well if you stay off the pavement.and they are a great trail and mud tire.

hey guy i have a 2006 king quad 4x4 700 with 28"tires swamp lites with no problems and i have a hard 500 miles on my bike riding at a place called bus co beach in notrh carolina . the only thing you would have to do with 28" tires would put a 2" inch lift kit by high lifter. on it. so if you want only 27" tires you should have no problem with that at all .. i even have a front bumper on front end with rhino lining sprayed on so that is less clearance.. for mine and i go mudding and woods riding and i hunt with mine the only problem you would have is that when you kill a deer you would have to lift high to put him on the rack. you want to see pictures look on bus co beach site and look for faybobby that is me and you will see my bike or if you want i can send you pictures if you would like to see.

No, 27" will work OK. It's just when you go to 28" that you'll have a problem.
