I have a 02 vinson and the radiator fan switch I think went out. I tried to heat up water and stick the end of the switch in there and see if there is an ohm reading and nothing. The fan works does work and I can jump the radiator fan switch wiring and it will turn on.
What I am wondering is Im trying to ride this weekend and no one has the switch in stock.
Does anyone know of an automotive radiator switch that is interchangeable with this one?
The switch goes into the top of the radiator.
Any help would be great thanks.

 

Don't know if this will work on an ATv but I don't see why not..

On my Motorcycle I hooked up a toggle switch so I can turn on my fan whenever i was in traffic, concept was to keep it cool before it got too hot. I will try it on my 04 z400 it is a very easy install...

 

Is the wire going to it 12v or GRND. If 12v run to key power and if GRND just run to GRND and the fan will be on when the key is on. Should work untill you get a switch.

 

Thanks. The switch works off a ground. I grounded it and ran it the whole time while riding. Now I just have to order a new swtich.
