Default LT 250S Plastics

Hey everyone. I recently bought a 89 Suzuki LT250S. I bought it from some hillbillies for 450. Well today i finally got the old beast running again and it wants to tear up anything in its path. I just have one problem left. Who ever had ridden it before really beat the hell out of the quad. My plastics are beat to hell!!! The back fender has more stitches than Frankenstein. I would like to get another front fender as well, but it is not nearly as bad. Can any one tell me if there any other quads that have fenders that would fit my quad. I have asked different plastic dealers and they tell me that they dont make them anymore and that there is no other quad that has interchangeable fenders. My roommate and i find that hard to believe and think that 230 fenders would fit but dont know for sure. So if anyone can help me out and point me in the right direction that would be awesome. I would really appreciate it!!

wow, i thought i was the only one with one of these left. i bought mine for $800 a few years ago. with stock motor and all the plastic is good shape. only one crack. but i hopped up the motor and put in the arias big bore kit, and a new bigger cam and it ran great, for a little while. then blew out something in the lower end. im finally getting around to tearing into it to so what it is. hope fully will get it all back together soon. if not i may end up parting the thing out. i hope to get it back together though.

Sorry to bring up a old post but I found it in a search:

I have two of these 250s, well actually one forever project and one that was to be a parts bike that really does not need much to be a whole bike.
I hate to break it to everyone but the only place to get the fenders new are from the suzuki dealer, and there stupid $$$. Sometimes you can get some from ebay but it's hit and miss. The plastics seem to get brittle and break easy, mine seemed to brake more when sitting than when i drove it.
As for other bikes Nobody seems to be able to give a straight answer to that question, Ive been looking for 8 years on and off to get somebody that can confirm what else will fit.
