Long live the creator! Suzuki's new QuadRacer is just around the corner!

After several years of turning their heads on the "potentially liable" sport performance segment of ATVing, Suzuki (the inventors of the 4-wheeled ATV) had a huge surprise to tell their dealers at their recent dealer meetings. Enter a brand new sport quad that is said to out perform the all mighty 250R! It's a QuadRacer replacement that utilizes up to date - state of the art fourstoke technology! Suzuki has kept this project as quiet as a flea whisper, but no use in hiding from the Scene' -- We were the first to tell you of the existence of the long awaited new QuadRacer. Right on, the more I hear about the new quad the better it sounds.

 

after i get an appartment, new truck and a couple more guns, i'll be in the market for this beast........well looks like it'll be awhile

Don't get too excited.Its gonna be powered by the DRZ motor, not exactly ground breaking.It will still be beaten by the 250R.

 

Are you thinking of the old DR engine?

The new DRZ400 is a pretty healthy unit. Although they will most likely detune it for quad use.

 

Keyword : SPORT. It is a sport machine. The mojave is a sport machine, the trailblazer is a sport machine. These are not PERFORMANCE machines like the DS, Raptor, Banshee, and 400ex. I highly doubt this new 'beast' will out perform a R. I'm sick of hearing about fourstrokes anyways. If there is going to be a new, real high performance machine soon it had better be a 2-stroke! Granted this isn't bloody likely, but i'd still love to see it. And i don't mean to bash suzuki, but they have always seemed timid when it came to the performance end of things, even when it comes to bikes. I love suzuki, and i'm currently rebuilding my Lt ground-up. But i just don't see them coming out with a performance monster anytime soon.

Yeah, when he said 4-stroke, that did it for me.

 

Kawasaki in a drag, Ducatti on a track......but that doesn't mean the 'busa won't pull your arms out of socket!

 

The new DRZ is a pretty tame heavy fourstroke bike, and thats what the new atv will be.It will use the already tame DRZ motor, further detuned with electric start which will make an already heavy bike heavier.I like suzuki but their new bike won't beat the 250R and until someone releases a new 2stroke nothing will.
