If i put oil in the oil tank do i still need to put oil in the gas tank?

nope. as long as the injection system is still in tact (some ppl remove the injection and pre-mix).

2 Cycle oil for oil injection.
Amsoil, Klotz, brand doesn't really matter as long as it's for oil injection.
