A questoin for all of you guys. What types of riding do you guys do with your Ozarks?
As for the spray question, it may be because the spray will not be sticky at cooler temps. It may just act as a dampening to the filter when in cooler temps. But I do not know for sure.
One more thing....when I called Warn about whaty winch to buy for my Ozark, they said only the 1500lb. winch would fit. But it seems like some guys have put 2500lb. winches on there's. I'm slowly finding out I NEED a 2500lb. winch because this 1500lb. one is not doing the job too well. How did you guys get a 2500lb winch on your ozark?</end quote></div>
I do mostly trail riding with some hills and rough riding. No heavy mud or water. Im in Houston TEXAS area. We havent had rain in months it seems, so I ride in dusty wooded trails.
I do have a Warn 2500lb winch. It was on my ATV when I bought it. It works like a champ. I used it once in a practice drill. I didnt want to learn to use it in a real life situation. But it fits tight under the plastics and frame. You'll want a tow strap as well. Tow strap to wrap around a tree, so you dont kink your cable. I never had to use it, but whats the old saying, "Better to have it and not need than need it and not have it."

My wife has followed me through some pretty nasty stuff on her Ozark and it has done fine. She has mud bug tires on the back and they seem to be doing great for her. I have a 2500lb winch on my Vinson and have hooked it to the Ozark to pull me out of some really bad mud/holes (usually getting high centered...).
