did anyone ever find the procedure of taking the flywheel off.
Tried the tool and wouldnt pop off sorta messed up the treads on shaft . Mechanic at Suzuki tried too but he was young and didnt know if he knew what he was doing. He was suppose to take off a good rotor and he messed it up broke the magnets I think he was trying to tap it with a hammer because it broke 2 of the magnets. Does the allen head bolts have to come out before you pull the rotor? I heated and still wouldnt pop loose Thanks for any help

I think you would have been better starting a new thread. First thing to check with any ignition problem on Quads is the plug. Next are the wires to/from the CDI, the trigger coil should be producing a few AC volts, the exciter coil quite a lot more, often circa 50v. The earth wire should be earthed, and the kill wire earthed with ignition switch one way and not earthed the other. Check the CDI is sending volts to the coil.
