If you want to use it like a mule, you've got the perfect quad.
KQ's are prone to having the brakes stick if stored after a wet or muddy ride. The brakes don't seal very well and the shoes will rust to the drums.
Lots of slow crawling can cause overheating, some have added a switch operated cooling fan.
If you hear a clicking noise in cadence with your speed and especially if you can chenge the noise by switching in and out of 4wd, check the rear U-joints.
For all quads, if you are miles and miles out and if you are traveling alone a few extras can get you back:
1. Get a winch. Any 4wd can get stuck but few stay stuck with a winch.
2. Tire slime. Do all four tires.
3. Extra fuel. While the KQ is fairly frugal on fuel usage, if you get into a lot of slow speed crawling in 4wd your range will go down in a hurry.
