Hello Everyone. I just joined because I've had my first problem..lol I have a 99 KQ. I went to start it this morning (29 degrees out), set the choke, hit the start button..dead. Put jumper pack on it, and it hits instantly, but when i release the start button it dies. Tried it again, same thing. I tried this (temporarily), if I hold the starter button in and keep the starter engaged, it will rev up with the throttle and everything but as soon as I release the starter button, it dies. It seems like it loses spark when starter button is released. Anyone heard of this? I'm going to pull the plug and and pull start it later to see if I have spark without the starter.
Just figured I would run it by some of you guys to see if anyone has had this problem previously. Thanks guys...
