The LT80 is a 2 stroke, takes no engine oil, it does have a small amount of transmission oil that can be drained out and replaced, about 8ml or so, I beleive it is stamped by the fill bolt. Did you remove a small bolt on the side of the motor and have oil drain out? that is the only place on the motor that has oil in it besides the oil injection resivior and of course, the drain on the stock silencer, which will hold quite a bit of oil if you don't drain it once every few months or so. I hope this information was of help, I'm not trying to be a smart alec or anything, I used to own an LT80, just trying to help.

Your LT 80 is a 2 stroke however it is oil injected and should hold approx 2quarts of oil.

As said the LT80 has a transmission at the rear of the engine case. It holds 80ml of oil, in the manual it says 20w40 but any decent 10w40 motor oil will work fine. The filler bolt is located on top of the case above the front sprocket.
