Default 07 Eiger Mudboggin???

I bought a 07 Eiger about 1 month ago. When I did they made me sign a paper that pretty much says 'all terrain does NOT mean submarine'. It said that if any sediment/dirt/etc is found in the motor/transmission that my warranty is voided and im on my own for putting out the money to fix it. This quad is brand new with 60 miles on it and spring is coming and the snows melting and the mud is forming and im getting the itch to mudbog. What im asking is if there is any chance of mudbogging actually screwing the quad up.

Default 07 Eiger Mudboggin???

Pretty fair. When my Eiger was less than a year old I went through a long and deep mud puddle at Coal Creek. Made it through but found mud below the air filter when I checked things immediately after. I *thought* that I cleaned the air filter enough, but in driving it back I wound up scratching the cylinder walls. Haad to rebore and repiston.

As far as a warrantee goes, running through mud is no different than a rollover or crashing into a stump - it's not going to be covered.

That said - In most trail conditions, it will be fine. Go out and have some fun with it.

Is there any way to prevent damaging the quad in deep mud?
