1984 suzuki 185 4 wheeler

has no key and the person i bought it from put a toggle switch so it runs but the lights dont work can any 1 tell me how to get them working can i cut the key switch wires and splice then together to get them working

youll have to get a wiring diagram and see which wires to tie to complete the circuit.
