I got an 08 LTR as well, it's fine for me for my trail riding. It's nothing too tight though, so I dunno what your trails are like. It's a really quick quad, lots of mods, and comfortable. Mine's been reliable, no problems yet. Haha in Toronto it fits on the sidewalks, I was riding up and down the sidewalk out front of my house yesterday, I was surprised it fit LOL.

But like the other LTR guy said, make sure you go for some test rides.

 

if you get a ltr450 dont get a 06 they have problems other than that all the other years are good.

 

i can only speak of one bike here. i have a 2005 TRX450r and it has been the best bike i have EVER owned. i read some other threads that state they have had bad luck with them and that may be true but for me this bike has ran like a champ. i have a buddy that has the yfz and another that has the preditor, and in all of our riding trips mine has been the only one to not have an occasional problem. i also know it only weighs 350 lbs dry as does the yfz450. i am not sure about those others as far as weight goes. i really dont think you can go wrong with any of these bikes. its just a matter of how readily you would like the parts to be if you break something. so in my opinion i would take the TRX450r. never a bad moment with it!

dude go for the ltr or trx. craptors are a joke (too heavy and clumsy), can am is just plain **** alltogether, and polarises seem to break alot.

the ltr is gonna out-perform and out-handle the trx, but the trx is cheaper. they are both super reliable.
