Default i need your opinion on a pipe for my z400

i hate the stock sound of my quad. so im looking for a pipe, even if its just a slip on, just for a good sound.

im looking for a pipe thats loud, and it pumps your heart and you can feel the beat, if you know what i mean. it needs to be a deep tone, and loud but has to be able to be silenced.

any suggestions? all are welcome!

thanks in advanced

p.s. loving the forums!

White Bros. E-Series You can remove the endplate and get you're stupid loud, or put it back on for a more friendly tone. The E-Series is one of the best performing pipes for the 400's.

CT,E-Series, & Pro-Circuit make the most power. CT is the best, but the most pricey.

BTW, unless you only riding on a closed course (race track), loud sucks and is a growing problem causing trail closures.

lol, I guess there's no definite answer on which pipe is the best, everyone has said something different! My co-worker has a Yoshimura pipe on his and I think it sounds really nice. Not terribly loud, but loud enough. Couldn't attest to the power though since I haven't ridden it, or an Z-400 for that matter, yet. I would personally lean toward Yoshimura, since they seem to work most directly with Suzuki.

Two Brothers is Awesome! I get compliments all the time on the sound. Sounds great and has extra low end grunt!

Its true there is no really wrong answer anymore.......

Each pipe is going to be better in some areas than others, some will sound better than others.....these companies are all making some good stuff these days. Especially for the z400 which was so popular for racers and trail riders alike for several years. Just like the 400ex, you can find many pipes for that and all are pretty good.

I went with Motoworks because I was looking for low end, and several people recommended it including Dirt Wheels so I took a chance on them. I was not even a little disappointed with the results so I always recommend them now. They've won me over.

But people say for the z400, low end go with Motoworks, top end go with the Yoshi, for mid-range go with HMF, for quiet and smooth go with the FMF and for all around go with White Bros.....
