well heres how i ended up mounting it:

not quite sure about my rezzie mounting just yet, although it does seem very solid.

Use a hose clamp.

yeah im pretty sure thats what im gonna do, but i just wish i could get the little rubber cradle-like pieces like whats on my r. it would make things look much cleaner.

yeah actually i can, at $5 a pop, plus shipping.

i guess ill see how my current setup goes, and if its no good ill get two of those little rubber cradle mounts and hose clamps.

Just cut a lug off your tire and make a mount.

I have a bag full of lugs I trimmed off. A whole pound or two.
