LT230S Rear Shock

For anyone else thinking of doing this, know that the 230E did not have the remote rezzie in it's first year ('87), only the '88 and newer models had it.

Also, the spring rate on the E shock is a little stiffer than the S shock. Not a bad thing if you bottom out once in awhile, but it will be a little stiffer over the rough stuff.

The rider weight rating on an E is substantially higher than a sport.

Makes sense since the E probably factors in extra weight for the electric stuff and the racks + cargo. Good point.

yeah i thought it felt a little stiffer... actually alot stiffer. but i didnt want to make any assumptions yet cuz i havent felt a 230 shock with fluid in it for years hahaha!

well, maybe i could get away with using this shock with my +2" swinger, no?
