pennzoil surpasses valvoline in nearly all ASTM tests.

amsoil also surpasses redline in the 4 ball wear test (ASTM D4172)

The reply about the using the synthetic in the clutchs is correct IMO.
If your oil services the clutch side, you need to stick to a petroleum base oil.

That test was in 1995 (the graph). To have Quacker State that high on the list sure seems weird..Talk about parafin.

yeah that graph is pretty old, hence the amoco oil being there. however, even today things are still farily unchanged in the amsoil and redline formulations.

firstgen89sho- usually oem oils are of fairly high quality, so official zuki oil is a safe bet.

If you don't know allot about synthetic oil or oil in general watch this little video put out by Redline oil co.

JFYI and if you did not know Quaker State is now owned by Pennzoil!

the flaw in that is that the video's put out by redline oil co!

advertisements can say anything these days, with no merit whatsoever.

just look how many different oils say theyre THE official oil of nascar...

i've not heard anything bad about Redline oils. I think it's are top of the line.
My favorite is TORCO oils. (torcousa.com)
