Default No spark on my 2004 Eiger

Help please. I have a 2004 eiger automatic. I went to start it this spring after sitting most of the winter and no go. The fuel did have fresh fuel additive in it. It will turn over, but it refuses to start. I changed out the fuel in the fuel tank, cleaned the carb, cleaned the spark plug and nothing. I just replaced the spark plug, nothing. I pulled the spark plug, helf it with pliers and no spark. What else should I check? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Check your ground and battery connections for tightness and corrosion.

Your starter is turning the engine right? Just no spark!

To try to make it simple you'll have to start checking the wiring and parts in that system. My best advice is to use the surch --'Eiger no spark' I have had to go through mine and found that the flywheel magents all came off/loose. But check the wiring because a mouse could have found a wire it liked over the winter!

Default Electrical Gremlins!!!!!!

Well... Good Luck to Ya!

I've been fighting the same problem for a year, and have spent a bunch of $ at the stealership trying to get to the bottom of the no spark problem. I have a new coil, several switches, a new stator, and a HUGE headache!

Yesterday the quad started right up and started every time I tried it. This morning, I went out, started it, and it ran perfectly. I shut off the choke and it stalled.. then would not start. The last time it went to the shop, I had to push it into the back of the truck. When I got the the dealer, it started right up!!!! UGH!!!!

I played with every wire in the darn thing and it still won't start tonight. Perhaps it will start tomorrow???? Who knows????

Please keep us informed if you find the problem, and I will do the same.

Jackie
