Default 09 Z400 Plastics on Earlier Years?

Anyone know if the plastics from an 09 would bolt up to a previous model year? Obviously with the new brackets and stuff.

I would imagine you could make them fit........But why would you want to? The older z400s were one of the coolest looking ATVs of all time IMO.... The air ducts in the front give it such a unique look that they looked like nothing ever or since.......The new ones are just like the 450 which I kind of lame IMO .......

But I'm an old school guy and I liked it when you could look at an ATV and know what it was from the plastic.....now you have to look a lot closer to know what the heck you are seeing.

Today everything looks the same, the 450R and 400ex, and now the z400 and LT-R450 are all the same.....Kinda boring IMO, but I understand why people like it.

they are not a direct bolt up.. they changed seat high and the design of the frame some.. there is a guy on Z4C that is working on the swap he has the backs done but hasent figured out how to do the fronts yet.

Cool, thanks guys. I don't think I would ever do it, but if I ever had to replace my DVX plastics, it might be easier than trying to hunt down a full set for the DVX.

Thanks, but I'm not to the point of needing plastics quite yet. Was just curious more than anything.

I have a full set of Kawasaki green plastics, in really great shape....make me an offer and I might part with them..... Of course I think the brackets on the DVX were different so you'd probably need those too...

Thanks for the offer, but I think I'm good for now though!
